He was bitten – on the thigh – by our neighbour’s pet dog while the mutt was having his dinner by the roadside outside our home. Neighbors and I rushed my brother in a state of shock, to the hospital at night, attendant screaming “boy bite dog, boy bite dog”. Dolly the shaggy dog passed away a few days later. My brother never had an asthma attack again. Go figure. I can’t.
